Frequently Asked Questions About This Product

What is the safety advice and restrictions for this playhouse?

We recommend adult monitoring whenever a playhouse is used. However, it may be of reassurance to learn that our playhouses are safety tested to British Standards BS-EN71 for domestic use. Our playhouses are not designed for children aged under 36 months as there are many small parts, which may be a potential choking hazard.

    Can you paint the playhouse?

Whilst our playhouses are delivered undecorated with the natural wooden surface, encourage your little ones to paint and splash some of their favourite colours so that they can have a colourful play den. There are so many ways to make your little ones’ playpen more homely and colourful looking.

    What is the glazing?

Crafted from shatter-resistant plastic (SAN) and suitable for seasonal use. SAN is used for its UV properties and the tougher finish avoids breakages, when compared to glass. Single glazing is the perfect choice for seasonal buildings such as summerhouses, play houses and sheds providing plenty of natural light into the building.

Will I need planning permission for this building?

If your building is shorter than 2.5m you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or will be placed in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before purchasing a garden building from us.

As it is a wooden house you can improve it with light and details that suit it very well and make it very fun for children

Very fast, precise in delivery. Very nice and versatile. I repeat: we knew we had people in the house capable of assembling it. The result is great

The construction is super organized, the screws are neatly sorted and the wood makes a solid impression. The kids love it! There is not so much to say about the shelf life.

My son put the playhouse together so I don’t know if it was difficult but it’s very well constructed and my 3 yr old granddaughter spends hours playing in it. Definitely a great buy.

Purchased for my son's birthday. It took some time to assemble it because it is made up of many pieces, but once fitted and really beautiful. He plays with it every day.

The house is really beautiful! Not easy to assemble. It takes a whole morning and a person who more or less knows how to do it. Very well done but then it decorates the garden a lot as opposed to the plastic ones.
